MY WHY
I believe modern life is sucking the life out of too many family leaders - leaving us burnt out, numb, and disconnected from what matters most. Feral Soul exists to change that. By slowing down, rooting ourselves in nature, and bringing simple rituals back into daily life, we can recharge, reconnect, and build a lifestyle that sustains us instead of draining us.
My Back Story (in short)
I’m a dad of three, a nature nut, and a bloke who hit burnout so hard it nearly broke me.
For years, I grafted like mad - part-time farmer, self-employed handyman, and long-distance dad to one of my kids. Always chasing time and money, and always feeling like I was coming up short. From the outside I looked steady. On the inside? I was running on fumes. Stressed out, anxious, little energy left for the people I cared about most.
The pressures involved with working fulltime, running a small sustainable farm, and then trying to give my family the best of me took its toll - financially and emotionally.
I hit that point where “just surviving” wasn’t enough anymore. I wanted my energy back. I wanted real connection with my kids. I wanted a life that actually lined up with my values instead of draining me.
Things had to change.
What Changed?
The sustainable life I was trying to build just wasn't sustainable at all. I decided to give up the farm, give my time back to my family, and rethink my approach to building the self-reliant dream.
What I needed was more money to fund the dream, more freedom to live the dream, and location freedom so we could travel and find somewhere to build the dream. And for me that meant creating income online.
I'll be honest, I followed a lot of shiny promises online, and a lot of paths to failure - trying to learn through YouTube and social media posts just wasn't doing it for me. It lacked real guidance and support.
But then I found Launch You - an online education platform that didn’t just teach skills, it helped me get back intouch with myself, my values, and gave me the push I needed to start building something with purpose.
And that’s where Feral Soul began.
